You may often feel like you’re on the edge, constantly juggling tasks and responsibilities, yet never feeling quite “good enough” or accomplished. You may be caught in a cycle of self-doubt, worry, and pressure. On the outside, everything might seem fine but inside, you feel like you’re barely holding it all together.
The most frustrating part is that it can be hard for others to see the struggle you’re going through. You might be hesitant to tell anyone how much self-doubt, worry, or panic you’re experiencing because you don’t want to appear weak or incapable. You may feel trapped by the constant pressure to do it all and do it perfectly—whether it’s at work, in your relationships, or in how you manage your daily life. All of that pressure leaves you often feeling exhausted, stressed, and overwhelmed.
My clients often experience:
You may feel like your problems aren’t “big enough” for therapy. At the end of the day you get stuff done. I get it (I really do). I want you to know what is possible though. It may be hard to imagine, but stick with me!
By working with an anxiety therapist you can:
If you’re ready to find relief from constant worry and pressure, I’m here to support you!
We will first initially meet to get a sense of what your needs are and where I can help. This session is 90 minutes and a little longer than other sessions so we can get to know one another and cover paperwork. I typically see clients for a 50 minute session each week starting out to build momentum and then as you make progress towards your goals we will reevaluate frequency.
I’m excited to help clients who are ready to gain clarity and confidence so they can show up more fully as themselves in their work and relationships!
What we process in therapy is 100% confidential. You may feel vulnerable initially but our pace, what you disclose, and how we approach solutions and coping is completely up to you.
I will use the intervention that I think will best help at the time. These interventions may look like ways to calm your mind, different communication tools to use with a roommate or family member, or work through trauma that is keeping you stuck. We may go for a walk and talk at the park by the office (usually during less humid months), laugh, cry, or pray together. You can come in your work uniform, your sweats, between classes, or on your lunch break.
Your well being is not the easiest to prioritize but when you do change will come and bring a ripple effect to those around you.
